London Taxis (referred to as the Company) undertakes to hire a licensed London taxi to the Customer for the period of hire under the following terms and conditions:-
Customers may use this website to obtain an online quotation, a fixed price quotation, or to make a booking confirmation.
We will respond by email within 2-4 hours giving our best quote based on the information provided.
Payment is by credit card via our online booking confirmation page and
"Sage Pay's" secure server.
1. A minimum fare of £30.00 is required on all journeys.
2. There is a £5.00 deposit to be paid on confirmation of the booking, using "Sage Pay's" secure payment system.
Additional charges above the £5.00 deposit will be charged to the customer's Credit Card/Debit Card on completion of the journey.
3. There is an additional 12.99% administration fee on all bookings.

4. The charge on your credit card statement will be listed as london black taxis.
5. When a prospective customer wishes to proceed on the basis of a quotation received they will make their booking confirmation using our online booking form.
6. Every effort will be made by the Company to ensure that the taxi will arrive on time and reach destinations on time too. The Company shall not be held responsible or liable for any delays (and/or arising consequential losses) that occur beyond its control.
7. The driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the customer.
8. Our taxis are fully insured for passenger and third party claims under British Law, customer's properties are carried entirely at their own risk and London black taxis shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.
9. The Company and its driver have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the driver, the vehicle or any other passengers.
10. Re “Fixed Price Quotations”. If the driver has to wait more than 15 minutes for the passenger to arrive after the confirmed arrival time, then the “Fixed Price Quotation” will revert back to the full meter fare.
Please note: In certain rare and exceptional circumstances “Fixed Price Quotations” will have to revert back to the full meter fare.
Examples:-
Emergency Road closures, diversions causing unusually heavy traffic, and any other circumstances that are beyond the driver’s control and that result in a substantial addition to the expected journey time.
11. In line with TFL and other Licensed London Taxi circuits, our taxi drivers will be allocated the online booking 15 minutes before the confirmed arrival time.
Please Note at the confirmed arrival time there will be no more than
£ 4.20 showing on the onboard taxi meter.
12. Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the client's' statutory rights.
13. We now offer a "Suited and Booted" taxi driver service for a small extra charge of £20.00 per journey.
14. On certain rare occassions during our "Countryside Tours" a small fuel surcharge is chargeable where there is excessive mileage involved.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
a. In the event of a "No-show" by the customer, or if a confirmed booking is cancelled by the Customer within 1 hour of the start of the period of hire, all monies paid will be totally non-refundable. In addition the full charge may be debited especially where the journey pick up point is from an airport or seaport. Our drivers are requested to wait at an airport till the flight details are removed from the airport's arrivals screen or until we receive additional information from the customer that the taxi is no longer required.
b. On very rare occassions a minimum fare is charged even after a cancelled booking when there is a serious lack of communication from the customer thus causing an unneccessary avoidable delay and loss of earnings for our driver.
c. If a booking is cancelled by the customer prior to 12 hours of the start of the period of hire, payments will be subject to a 100% refund minus our 12.99% service charge.
d. Changes to pre-booked journeys must be notified to London Black Taxis within 24 hours of the booked pickup time.
Changes without 24 hour prior notification may result in the customer being charged the full original estimated/quoted fare.
London Black Taxis reserve our right to refuse any such changes where the pickup point is outside the metropolitan area.
If necessary and on certain rare occasions we will cancel the booking.
